However, candidates based in the UK are preferred due to working hours and the need to collaborate closely with Zapiet’s leadership team. About Zapiet Zapiet helps Shopify merchants offer exceptional pickup, delivery and shipping experiences. Our products are used by more than 10,000 merchants around the world, from independent businesses to some of the world’s best-known brands. We are a remote, bootstrapped SaaS company with ambitious plans for the next stage of our growth. We are looking for a commercially focused Head of Marketing to help more merchants discover, adopt and succeed with Zapiet’s products. The role As Head of Marketing, your primary responsibility will be to increase revenue by driving awareness, adoption and continued use of Zapiet’s products. You will turn our wider company and marketing strategy into focused campaigns that generate measurable results. You will own the marketing funnel, from discovery and acquisition through to activation, expansion and retention. You will also manage and grow a team of internal and external specialists across email marketing, SEO, answer engine optimisation, content, communications and other marketing disciplines. This is a hands-on leadership role. You should be comfortable setting strategy, managing specialists, analysing performance and stepping in to help execute when needed. You will work closely with our CMO, CEO, product, sales, partnerships and customer support teams. Your responsibilities Increase product adoption and revenue Develop and deliver marketing plans that increase installations, product adoption and recurring revenue. Identify the biggest opportunities within our acquisition, activation, retention and expansion funnels. Create campaigns that clearly communicate how Zapiet’s products help merchants increase revenue, reduce costs and improve their operations. Increase adoption across Zapiet’s complete product portfolio through cross-selling, product education and lifecycle marketing. Support new product and feature launches with clear positioning, messaging and go-to-market plans. Develop campaigns for specific industries, merchant segments and geographic markets. Turn merchant success stories into compelling case studies, campaigns and sales materials. Own marketing performance Set clear targets and KPIs for every marketing channel. Build reporting that connects marketing activity to installations, qualified opportunities, product adoption and recurring revenue. Monitor performance across the full funnel and identify where merchants are dropping off. Run structured experiments to improve conversion, activation and retention. Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources to the channels producing the strongest commercial results. Report performance, insights and priorities directly to the CMO and CEO. Lead and grow the marketing team Manage and develop a team of specialists across email marketing, SEO, AEO, content and communications. Recruit additional expertise as the marketing function grows. Set clear goals, responsibilities and performance expectations. Create an environment where specialists can do their best work while remaining accountable for measurable outcomes. Coordinate internal team members, agencies, freelancers and technology partners. Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to a consistently high standard. Strengthen Zapiet’s market position Refine the positioning and messaging of Zapiet and its products. Improve Zapiet’s visibility across search engines, AI answer platforms, industry publications and the wider Shopify ecosystem. Build relationships with Shopify agencies, technology partners, influencers and ecommerce communities. Identify emerging changes in SaaS marketing, ecommerce discovery and merchant buying behaviour. Ensure Zapiet’s communications are clear, distinctive and consistent across every channel. What we are looking for Significant experience marketing SaaS products, ideally within ecommerce, Shopify or B2B software. A proven record of increasing product adoption, recurring revenue or qualified pipeline through marketing. Experience leading and developing a multidisciplinary marketing team. Strong knowledge of lifecycle and email marketing, SEO, content, communications and product marketing. A practical understanding of answer engine optimisation and how AI is changing product discovery. Experience developing and executing go-to-market plans for products and features. Strong analytical skills and the ability to connect marketing activity with commercial results. Experience setting targets, managing budgets and reporting performance to senior leadership. Excellent project management skills and the ability to keep multiple campaigns moving. Native-level written and spoken English, with exceptional attention to detail. About the Role One Acre Fund takes on debt to finance our working capital needs, resulting from purchasing agricultural inputs ahead of time and selling them on credit to farmers. You will join the Investor Relations team, which manages our debt needs, identifies and grows relationships with lenders, and advises on capital structure and liquidity management. The Investor Relations (IR) team is currently a team of 3 people, based in New York & Nairobi, and part of the larger Finance Division. You will report to the Investor Relations Director to independently develop a pipeline of debt investments. Responsibilities Debt Raising: You will source and structure working capital financing deals from African banks and commercial financing actors in our operating countries. You will have an annual deal-making target in the 7-8 figure range (USD or USD equivalent).
