Job description
In this role, you would be responsible for: Maintaining a qualified pipeline of at least 100 active B2B leads per month, sourced from logistics hubs, delivery platforms, corporate fleet managers, ride-hailing operators, NGOs, and SACCOs and logging all activity accurately in the CRM Conducting discovery meetings to understand each client's fleet composition, cost structure, and decision-making process, and presenting M-KOPA's Bolt proposition including PAYG financing terms, total cost of ownership vs. petrol, embedded insurance, and remote asset monitoring Preparing tailored financing proposals covering fleet size, deposit terms, PAYG payment schedules, service level commitments, and onboarding timelines and navigating multi-stakeholder approval processes across procurement, finance, and operations Closing confirmed sales and coordinating new fleet client onboarding including rider training, motorcycle handover, PAYG account setup, and first-payment confirmation Handing over closed accounts to the Customer Success team with a full briefing to ensure continuity of relationship Gathering competitive intelligence on pricing, financing terms, and product features from electric mobility players, and feeding market insights back to the Commercial and Product teams Collaborating with Telesales, Field Marketing, and Customer Success teams to coordinate B2B and B2C lead flows in shared territories, and representing M-KOPA at industry events and fleet operator forums Your application should demonstrate: 2 - 4 years of B2B sales experience with a demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding quarterly targets Experience selling into fleet operators, logistics companies, delivery platforms, corporates, or financial services environments requiring multi-stakeholder sales cycle management Strong pipeline management discipline accurate CRM records, reliable forecasting, and a professional approach to pipeline ownership Excellent consultative communication skills able to adapt your message to a procurement manager, CFO, and operations lead in the same conversation Proficiency in Google Workspace and CRM tools A valid driving licence and comfort working in the field with significant autonomy Nice to have: experience in electric mobility, clean energy, asset financing, or PAYG products; familiarity with boda boda or last-mile delivery economics; an existing network among fleet operators, logistics SMEs, or ride-hailing platforms in Kenya; understanding of mobile money-based payment models
