Job description
The Technical Expert will provide specialist expertise in Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C), child marriage, and harmful norms related to SRHR. Key Responsibilities Assess programme results, effectiveness, and contribution to outcomes related to FGM/C, child marriage, GBV, and harmful SRHR-related norms. Support the design of survivor-sensitive and safeguarding-appropriate consultation approaches. Contribute thematic analysis to consolidated technical reports. Requirements Advanced degree in Gender Studies, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field; PhD preferred. Minimum 10 years' technical experience in GBV, FGM/C, child-marriage programming, research, or evaluation. Demonstrated experience applying survivor-centred and safeguarding approaches. Regional experience in the Horn of Africa is preferred. Experience with EU-funded or other multilateral third-party monitoring assignments is an advantage.
